There’s never been a more important time to employ an apprentice

There have been some incredibly challenging times in recent months in the apprenticeship sector. Like the vast majority of organisations we have had to adapt quickly to new ways of working in order to support the employers and apprentices we work with. However, as we transition back to our normal proactive ways, we can reflect on a number of amazing positives that we have seen over this turbulent period. Salford City College launch Higher Apprenticeships with Seddon

There has never been a better time to be an apprentice. That is true for school leavers, college leavers and even those already within the work place. Anyone can be an apprentice, anyone with a need for up skilling and knowledge development, that is. Employers are increasingly utilising their apprenticeship levy to not only develop and support new staff, but to develop the talent they already have. Because of this, Apprenticeships at Salford City College have seen a real need for the introduction of Higher Apprenticeships in Project Management.

More school and college leavers are choosing apprenticeships

With the academic year now at an end, it is the perfect time for businesses to recruit apprentice talent. Why? Apprenticeships are becoming an increasingly popular choice for young people leaving full-time education, as not only will they be earning a wage, but they will also be gaining valuable work experience and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprenticeships at Salford City College are currently recruiting the most gifted school and college leavers from across Greater Manchester, to add to their already impressive portfolio of apprentice talent.
